Facilicom Belgium moves to iconic Montevideo project in Antwerp thanks to JLL

Antwerp, January 14, 2025 - Facilicom Belgium, a leading facility services provider, is set to move its office from Noorderplaats to the recently renovated Montevideo project on Het Eilandje in Antwerp, in collaboration with JLL. The relocation is scheduled for spring 2025, coinciding with the project's planned completion.

The Montevideo project is a striking combination of historical heritage and modern architecture. DCA and LIFE have transformed the former warehouse into a multifunctional complex, preserving the building's protected facade while creating a state-of-the-art interior.

Facilicom is another prominent tenant choosing this project, thanks to JLL, where Tomorrowland's offices will also be located.

Steven Peeters, Head of Office Agency Flanders at JLL, commented on the development: "The arrival of Facilicom and Tomorrowland, among others, to the building will bring additional culture and experience to the neighborhood, especially since well-known names like Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and the Red Star Line Museum are already established there."

The Montevideo project offers a unique working environment, combining historical elements such as original cobblestones and cast-iron pillars with modern amenities. The complex includes office spaces, luxury apartments, and areas for retail and hospitality. A two-story underground parking garage provides 300 spaces, part of which is available for public and neighborhood parking.
