JLL strengthens U.S. Value & Risk Advisory leadership with strategic senior appointments
CHICAGO, Mar. 4, 2026 – JLL announced today the strategic appointments of two senior industry leaders to accelerate growth in its Value & Risk Advisory business, as the firm capitalizes on increasing institutional demand for integrated valuation and advisory solutions. Becci Curry joins as Global Head of Strategy, Quality Management & Institutional Lead, and Eric Durden joins as U.S. Head of Value & Risk Advisory. Together, they will enhance JLL's service offerings for clients and drive the firm's global growth strategy.
The hires represent a significant investment in JLL's advisory capabilities, pairing Curry's global strategic and risk management expertise with Durden's proven operational leadership in the Americas. They will co-lead a joint program focused on delivering an integrated, best-in-class solution for lenders and investors.
"The arrival of Becci and Eric marks a pivotal moment for JLL and our clients," said Alexandra Bryant, Global CEO of JLL Value & Risk Advisory. "In today's complex market, our clients require both forward-thinking strategic guidance and flawless execution. Becci's expertise in innovation and global risk frameworks, combined with Eric's track record of driving large-scale growth and operational excellence, creates an unmatched leadership team. This partnership will enable us to deliver superior outcomes and solidify our position as the premier advisor in the industry."
Becci Curry, MAI, MRICS, is a recognized leader in quality and risk management. Based in Seattle, she joins JLL from CBRE, where she served as the Americas Executive Leader for Quality Management. A former Chief Appraiser at Columbia State Bank, Curry brings a unique and valuable lender-side perspective to risk mitigation, ESG initiatives and regulatory compliance under USPAP, CUSPAP, RICS and FIRREA. Her industry leadership is further demonstrated by her service on The Appraisal Foundation's Industry Advisory Council and Appraisal Standards Board.
Eric Durden, based in Atlanta, joins JLL following a distinguished tenure at CBRE, where he was the leader of the Valuation & Advisory Services South Division. In that role, he was responsible for the strategic direction and P&L performance of the business across the Southern United States. Durden has a proven track record of driving large-scale growth, leading high-performing teams and ensuring operational excellence across complex, multi-market professional services organizations.
"JLL's global platform and commitment to innovation present a compelling opportunity to build a truly world-class business for our clients leveraging a deep strategic framework for risk and quality management," said Curry. "I am excited to partner with our clients to navigate the evolving landscape of risk, regulation and ESG, and to work with the exceptional talent at JLL to set new standards for the industry."
"I am thrilled to lead the U.S. Value & Risk Advisory business at such a dynamic time," added Durden. "Our focus will be on empowering our team, leveraging cutting-edge technology and relentlessly driving growth to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. JLL has incredible momentum, and I look forward to building on that success and partnering with Becci to solidify our leadership position in the U.S. market."
These leadership appointments build upon the strong foundation established by Michael Ellis, who is concluding a distinguished 30-year career in commercial real estate. Ellis has led JLL's U.S. Value & Risk Advisory business with excellence, and his contributions have been instrumental in positioning the business for this next phase of growth.
"We are immensely grateful to Mike for his decades of dedicated leadership and profound impact on our firm," said Bryant. "His legacy provides a strong platform for Becci and Eric to accelerate our growth trajectory and strengthen our market leadership."
