Recipient of the 2024-2025 JLL Award for Indigenous Students at UBC Sauder announced

TORONTO, September 11, 2025 – JLL is proud to announce its continued partnership with the UBC Sauder School of Business for the fourth consecutive year to encourage and empower Indigenous students who aspire to pursue a career in the commercial real estate industry.

The award serves to eliminate financial obstacles for students, creating new avenues of opportunity and fostering more belonging in the industry. Recipients are selected by UBC Sauder, based on their strong academic performance, exceptional leadership qualities, and active engagement within their communities.

“I am so appreciative of being the recipient of the JLL Award for Indigenous Students at UBC Sauder this past year. The financial support has allowed me to focus on my studies. Instead of having to take on a part-time job that would more than likely have been unrelated to my studies, I have been able to continue my studies full-time throughout the summer. With this focused time, I have made significant improvements in my study skills, which are thankfully reflected in my grades for the four courses that I took. I was able to deepen my knowledge in specific areas of interest that I had, including law and real estate. I wouldn't have been able to accomplish all this without the assistance from JLL.”
