Liège, September 1st, 2025 - JLL announces it has successfully supported Cash Converters in its urban expansion strategy by securing a prime location at 12A rue de l'Université in Liège. The transaction encompasses approximately 250 m² of retail space.
This new establishment marks Cash Converters' first foray into Liège's city center, as the brand had previously maintained a presence exclusively in outlying areas. This opening is part of a targeted expansion strategy for Cash Converters, further strengthening its territorial network.
JLL's proactive approach proved instrumental in closing this deal. "After identifying a development opportunity for Cash Converters in the city center, we presented several properties from our Liège portfolio. This particular property was a perfect match for their criteria and enabled them to tap into previously unexplored market potential in the heart of Liège," explains Yasmina Lachhab, Director of Retail Agency at JLL.
Cash Converters' arrival aligns seamlessly with the commercial revitalization currently taking place in Liège's city center. The brand's establishment will enhance the retail offering on rue de l'Université, bringing complementary services to the area.
