Bio

Responsibilities
David Adams is a leader of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Mid-Atlantic Property Management group, responsible for new business development, client retention and client satisfaction initiatives.  He provides senior oversight of multiple properties and facilitates the implementation of best practices throughout all Jones Lang LaSalle’s managed properties.  David's expertise spans every aspect of building ownership, allowing him to assist landlord clients in creating sound operational strategies for every phase of the ownership and management lifecycle.

Experience 
David has over 20 years of asset management experience as an advisor to agency clients. 

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, he led and oversaw asset management operations in multiple capacities for various clients.  As a Managing Director at GVA Advantis, he was responsible for building an investor suite platform to serve the firm’s institutional, multi-market investor and developer clients.  David oversaw initiatives for 16 offices, 115 brokers, 20 property management and approximately 14 million square feet under management.

David also served as Vice President at Colliers Pinkard, where he launched the firm’s agency leasing and property management initiatives, introduced innovative approaches to asset services operations and created client-specific marketing and leasing programs to enhance broker efficiency and project lease-ups.  He was also a Principal at Tri Properties, where he was responsible for development and portfolio management for major operations of institutional clients, and Jones Lang Wootton (prior to its merger with LaSalle Partners), where he led the Washington, DC office’s agency leasing group and participated in the management and marketing of over 1.5 million s.f. of leases.

Education and affiliations
David earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Duke University.  He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).  He also served on the National Research Committee Subcommittee of the National Association of Realtors.  
David was honored with the CoStar Power Broker Award for leasing in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and for sales in 2008.
