For the second year in a row, Diversity MBA Magazine has recognized JLL as one of ‘50 Out Front Companies for Diversity Leadership: Best Places for Diverse Managers to Work’ in 2012.
“Being named to this list two years in a row is a huge honor and a big deal for our firm,” according to Angela Roseboro, Chief Diversity Officer. “As the only firm within our industry even named to this list, the recognition not only places our firm ahead of our main competitors in the D&I space, but it also finds us in excellent company, alongside several of our largest clients.”
With rankings increasingly competitive each year, this year’s benchmarking survey evaluated companies based on accountability, succession planning, representation, workplace inclusion, recruitment and board diversity. Each of the 50 companies named to the list implemented strategies over this past year that encouraged managers and women of diverse backgrounds to excel and develop into leadership roles.
“Jones Lang LaSalle’s people and clients are our top priorities, which is why Diversity & Inclusion is fundamental to our corporate values,” added Peter Roberts, Americas Chief Executive Officer. “Our D&I initiatives enable us to attract, develop and retain top talent from broad backgrounds, as well as allow our employees to unleash their full potential, drive their careers and create partnerships with clients and each other. We are proud to be recognized by Diversity MBA Magazine for our D&I initiatives and we look forward to strengthening them—and our diverse workforce—as we grow as a company.”
The 50 companies honored were profiled in the spring issue of Diversity MBA Magazine and received an award at the Magazine’s Sixth Annual Diversity & Leadership Awards Gala, in Chicago on September 20.
