Munich, EXPO REAL, 9th October 2012 – Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed Dr Lee Elliott as new Head of EMEA Research, a position he will combine with his existing role as Head of EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) Occupier Research.
Dr Elliott takes up his new responsibilities from 1 January 2013, reporting to Robert Bonwell on the EMEA Management Board and Vincent Lottefier, CEO of EMEA Corporate Solutions.
Robert Bonwell said: “Market leading research and insight has always been a core part of what we offer clients. We are investing considerable time and resources into maintaining and extending these capabilities and Lee has exactly the right blend of experience and leadership skills to take us forward. He is supported by a particularly strong senior team in our Research group. I am excited by the opportunities this will bring for our clients and for our firm.”
Lee Elliott said: “The way we all do business is changing rapidly, driven by a need for greater insight beyond data and facilitated by powerful advances in technology. This creates both tremendous opportunities for researchers and forecasters to show their value, and but also some strong challenges to traditional delivery models for research. I am excited to be given the opportunity to lead our exceptional research team in responding to this new environment. ”
Based in London, Dr Elliott, who has 11 years of experience with Jones Lang LaSalle, will lead a senior EMEA Research team including James Brown (Retail), Andrew Burrell (Forecasting), Hela Hinrichs (Market Intelligence), Robert Stassen (Capital Markets) and Jon Sleeman (Logistics & Industrial).
The firm employs more than 100 researchers across Europe, Middle East & Africa, delivering sophisticated market analysis, data and forecasting at local and international levels for the commercial and residential real estate sectors.
