On Saturday, October 18th, JLL staffer Melissa Trujillo volunteered at the 23rd Annual New York Cares Day Fall event. Participants in this bi-annual event helped to create murals, paint classrooms, plant school gardens, conduct financial literacy seminars for parents and community members, and run field days for students in 70 public schools in New York City. Melissa volunteered at PS 297 Abraham Stockton Elementary School in Brooklyn. New York Cares is New York City's largest volunteer management organization, running programs for 1,300 nonprofits, city agencies and public schools. JLL-sponsored teams have participated in Spring park clean-ups and other Fall school clean-ups in the past.
