Current Responsibilities With more than 16 years of project and development services experience, Chris Perruna is a senior vice president at JLL. He has spent his professional career as an architect and owner's representative / project manager. Over the past decade, Mr. Perruna has worked on a variety of interior commercial and core and shell (built-to-suit) projects totaling approximately 3 million square feet, with a combined value $700M. He has worked with clients in various industries including pharmaceutical, medical/healthcare, financial, law, private equity, insurance and media.
Experience Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Perruna spent nine years as a director of project management at an independent project and cost consultancy firm in the New York metropolitan area. He managed and coordinated the design and construction teams for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals during their multi-year expansion of 200,000+ square feet of laboratory and office space. The build-outs included specialty spaces such as cold rooms, vivariums, tissue culture labs, freezer farms, chemical prep rooms, proteomics clean and semi-clean rooms and dark rooms.
Mr. Perruna led the re-location of MetLife’s investment headquarters in Hanover, NJ which included a new “built-to-suit” four (4) story office building totaling 185,000 square feet. The building featured key amenity spaces such as a full service kitchen and servery, a state of the art fitness center, a 25,000 square foot conference center, a trading floor, a date center and full back-up power to serve as a mission critical facility. The scope of work also included oversight of the developer for the construction of the shell and core, site work, landscaping and MEP infrastructure.

Education and Affiliations Mr. Perruna earned a bachelor of arts degree in architectural engineering from the University of Hartford and is a licensed real estate agent in the state of New Jersey.
