Why Dallas / Fort Worth

The Dallas area has one of the highest concentrations of Fortune 500 headquarters in the country. What makes DFW the ideal location?

Location: DFW’s great central location means it is equally close to five of North America’s largest business cities: New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto and Mexico City.

Transportation: With the world’s 4th busiest airport, the Metroplex is an important U.S. transportation hub. Major destinations in the US are all within a 3.5-hour flight, and the airport also serves all key international locations. DFW is also home to the BNSF intermodal in Alliance and the UP intermodal in South Dallas.

Business friendly: We have one of the highest concentrations of Fortune 500 headquarters in the nation, and we are a prime site for companies considering re-location. Factors contributing to this are the pro-business environment, absence of state income tax, mild climate, central time zone, and an educated work force. We also have a relatively low cost of living.

Room to grow: Dallas/Fort Worth is the 6th fastest growing U.S. region out of the 25 largest. More importantly, we can accommodate future growth with an abundance of development land.
