The Westin Sydney

​The Westin Sydney incorporates Sydney's historic General Post Office and a contemporary tower providing a central CBD luxury guest offering. It was sold subject to a management agreement with Starwood, with near term vacant possession available.


JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group conducted a global marketing campaign focused on maximising exposure and pricing by emphasising the asset's undeniable trophy characteristics. 

The Global Hotel Desk assisted the core project team by identifying a number of trophy asset buyers that were not yet active in the region, as well as facilitating face-to-face meetings with a number of most engaged offshore groups throughout the campaign. Both activities further enhanced the competitive nature of the process which ultimately lead to the premium pricing achieved.
