Helping Scottish Rugby tackle big screens at Murrayfield

Murrayfield Big ScreensThe Project and Development Services team has completed the coordination and installation of the biggest TV screens and scoreboards in Scotland. The team managed Scottish Rugby’s ambitious investment scheme, which has seen two 60 sq m state-of-the-art TV screens erected at either end of the Edinburgh stadium.

Niall Robertson, Associate Director, said: "Strong collaboration with Scottish Rugby, the design team and all the contractors has been vital, to ensure the completion of this installation in advance of the Autumn Tests.

"The key challenge has been designing and procuring the works in the short window between the Emirates Airlines Edinburgh Sevens and Autumn Internationals. But with a comprehensive strategy in place and the support and enthusiasm of Scottish Rugby, the installation was completed in time for the All Blacks game to deliver the ultimate viewing experience for the crowd."

Murrayfield Stadium now boasts the largest screens of their type in Scotland and the largest screen area - per stadium seat - in the UK, rivalling both Wembley and the Millennium Stadium.

A Scottish Rugby spokesman added, "Jones Lang LaSalle provide real value in their Project Management and Property Consultancy services.”
