JLL and the World Economic forum at ASEAN

World Economic Forum 2016

Asia is home to nearly 60% of the world’s people and comprises one third of the global economy. At the heart of this dynamic region are the 10 countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Many opportunities are evident within ASEAN due to urbanization, industrialization and the embrace of technology. However, challenges exist as well in the form of geopolitical factors and slowing growth rates.

In 2016, the World Economic Forum on ASEAN celebrated its 25th year by returning to Malaysia. Organized with a distinctly interactive character, the meeting convened regional and global leaders to discuss the issues, to foster collaboration and to catalyze action.
